It is the perennial top-selling LT tire and with good reason: they are comfortable, quiet, competent on-road and off-road, and excellent in winter weather. The prices are good, they look good so dead heat in those areas. Very good reviews for both with a couple of unsatisfied users as well. From all the reviews on Tire Rack and here, they are essentially even. I have narrowed my search to the Grabbers or the Coopers in 265/70 17. I'm switching to 17" 4Runner Trail wheels (murdered) and so I'm shopping for 5 tires. My needs (and truck) have changed and I run 95% on road but hunting and dragging my bass boat up ramps are the main activities outside of highway driving. I get horrible mileage, the best I have ever gotten hand calculated is 16.3 Mpg. General Grabber AT3 and Toyo Open Country AT3 are both All-Terrain (A/T) tires that provide good traction on-road as well as off-road. And i think only come in E-Rated, so heavy as shit. I'm a long time Tacoma owner and have had all 3 generations going all the way back to a '96. Grabber AT2 - excellent tire on and off road, but noisy.
